Ok I am going to be getting some rims and tires soon. I am new at this game so please bare with me ok. I have been on the forum all morning and all over the web researching this stuff and still came up blank.
Could you guys help me out and steer freind in the right direction.
I need to know what brand to pick from and what brands not to pick from.
I have narrowed it down to these brands now if oyu all could help me narrow it down a little more the would be great.
OZ Racing= Where can I buy some and are they a good brand
Tenzo R= Are these a good brand I see them everywhere
Enkel= Are these any good
Racing Hart= Same Thing
Konig= Now I saw that someone said that they are kind of a generic brand
Velox= Are these any good
Motegi= Same Thing
I have seen some rims that I like in all these brands. Just need to know which ones are good.
Now I want to get 18''s 215/35/18
for everyday driving and I am also planning on getting some ground control coil overs
The thing is that I don't want to get some junk. I would rather spend a little more and get something that is well made and will last.
Also hook me up with some web sights where I could find some good prices. So far in my research I have done I have come up with Wheelmax, Whalentire, and Discount tire. Anymore?
Thank is advance for your help.

If you see them in the wheel wells on real race cars (not ricers), then its good ****. OZ, BBS, Enkei, Advan, Work, Wed's, Volk, Racinghart (the real ones) are the big ones that come to mind right now... there's more.

Stop smoking crack... You have no idea what makes a rim good if thats the way you think it should be.
The list should read
Racinghart
OZ
Enkei
Konig
Velox
Motegi
Tenzo
That would be the order I would put them in quality wise from best to worse.
Racingharts are the ****, so are OZs
Enkeis and Konigs are pretty much the middle of the road, they're good and light, but theres better. Velox (Forged excluded), Motegi and Tenzo are cheap castings and they're heavy.

Ok I am going to stick with OZ or Enkei
I want to get either 17's or 18's
Which would be btter for the car and what measurements would be the best. To keep from rubbing. Keep in mind that I want to get coilovers as well.

I have Konigs and while they are popular they do make a lot of styles. The Racing Harts are my second choice but what type of wheel are you looking for? Alloy, a gunmetal color, flat black (which I have) or chromes?
