full coilovers for less than 1000?

full coilovers for less than 1000?
does anyone make a full couilover setup for less that a grand? i know the teins are about 1200 but i dont wanna spend that much......if not what sleeve coils are good?

You can get the tein SS for about $1050 from what people say here. The tein basic will be under a grand, but the MSRP is $950 so it is kinda better just to get the Tein SS. Why not try to get used coilovers? I saw a few people awhile ago selling their teins or the B&Gs. I wouldn't get sleeved coilovers, but if you do Skunk2 or Ground control. But they are about $300 plus $500 konis, so you might as well get true coilovers.

no you don't need new shocks. It will depend on your driving habits, your roads, and how far you lower. the worse the conditions then the faster the shocks will die. Stock shocks aren't meant to handle lowering. if you lower 1" then they can last indefintely. Anything lower will depend on lots of things. They will most likely blow within a year if you lower more than 1".

groupbuycenter.com has Teins for less than 1K. For those interested, down the road I'll get that but I can't swing the cash right now.
