Rims, Rims, Velox Rims

Sorry about the gay title. I just wanted to know what you all think i should do. Im in love with the Velox VX-8 and i dont care if EVERYONE has these. I like em. I think im going to get 17's but i dont know what to do about tire size or what people think i should do period. The problem is that i cant drop it yet, so it will have a factory suspension, at least for a while. My parents are kinda weird when it comes to warranty so they dont like the lowering idea. Do you think it will look good still for the time i wont have it dropped or will it look weird. I may be able to talk them into it once the car gets older plus im going to college next year anyway. Thanks for your help

nice choice for a rim...get 215/45/17 tires...then when those tires wear out and you want to get a drop, go with 205/40/17 or 215/40/17...

and oh yeah, next time do a search, this "17's with no drop" topic has been discussed millions of times

i think you should drop it 1st. then get 205/40/17 tires. if you're not going to drop it lower than 1.75 then i say get 215/45/17.

I have Velox VX-8s in 17 inch with 215/45/17 tires. I don't recommend getting 205/40 tires with these rims. They are 7.5 inch in width, so you need 215. Also I rode around with no drop on these rims for almost a year. Its okay, but the rims exaggerate the wheel gap. I have some pics... all the pics before the black headlights are pre drop.
