question about interior fan

Why does interior fan blows harder when i press the recirculation button?

The "exterior" supply tube is a bit smaller than the interior opening as well as if your windows are rolled up the Fan is trying to pressurize the inside of the car. The vent in the trunk lets the air out, but you do build up a small bit of pressure. I have not tried removing the "pollen filter" but I bet the interior fan will blow alot faster with that removed.
