Question about motors...
Hey got a ? concerning b16's and b18's...ok I always knew few things well lots about acura/honda motors etc...i know that VTEC DOHC for civic is most time b16 transplant...and GSR is b18c, and Type R is b18c5...well check this site out...after lookin at this site got kinda confused lol

can someone help clarify to me what the difference is between the Integra VTiR 92-95 JDM B18C and Integra Type R 97-01 US B18C5 ..is it basically the b18c5 is made in US and b18C are made in jap...? spec wise whats the diff? b.c. i see lots of gsrs with the JDM b18c but are they as quick as the 97+ type R's with b18c5? im lookin to get one thats why i ask same with the b16's is there a diff between the older b16s like in the del sols compared to the b16a2 in the 99-00 si's? thanx guys

VTiR should be the equivalent to US GSR motor. The difference between Del Sol VTEC and 6th Gen Si, there shouldnt be any.... The site just seems to list a bunch of stuff. JDM B18C5 has a little bit more power.
