clutch pedal clicking

Hey,

Today on my way home, as I was downshifting to get onto my street, I noticed that my clutch pedal made a 'click' sound.. i didn't think much of it - but now it seems to be happening every time I press the pedal.. it only seems to do it on the way down, as the pedal comes back up it's normal..and it still let's me shift perfectly fine, so it's not showing any side effects other than the annoying sound. ('02 EX Coupe)

I know there is a TSB out for a squeaky / twangy clutch pedal ..do you think that it could be the same problem?

I'll probably call the dealer tommorow..I sure hope the master cyl. isn't going bad.. man i've had bad luck with this thing, first both front struts were leaking oil (at 3700km) and now this clutch problem (at 4500km). I've never babied a car as much as this one..so i'm startin to get kinda P.O'ed

thanks

Mine is doing the same thing. When I press the clutch in, it makes a clicking noise. It doesn't do it every time I press the clutch in, but it has been doing it for about a week now. I am going to make an appointment with Honda. Let me know if you hear anything, and I'll do the same.

Well I took it in today and the guy tried it, and basically said to just bring it up when I bring the car in for it's next oil change..

He said that they've replaced master cylinders and stuff and it doesn't seem to fix the problem, but he said there was something they may be able to do.. Guess i'll see in a couple months.. I guess as long as it's not a serious problem then I can live with it for a while..

i noticed it just started happening to mine too....

it started happening the day after the weather got
really warm... it went from 20 degrees to 60 degrees
and then started happening.

now i notice that i dont have the problem when it's
cold out, but on warm days it sometimes starts up
again.

haven't brought mine in yet for a checkup...

I have that problem too! I had just came back from a long drive and now when I press my clutch pedal in, I hear and feel a click. I don't know what is happening, but I am going to take this car to the dealer asap.

Keep the updates going if there are any new finds.
