Well... i have just orderd my rims.... went with Enkie's Bortex RPM2's in hyper black... 18X7.5... ahh.. i cant wait to get them... whats everyone think?

Yeah... my car is black... not sure i will use these 18's for autoxing.... but... yeah... they will give me that look i want... i was wanting something with a polished lip... but these just looked too good to me to pass up... my original plan was to get RO_JA Formula 7's... BUT... had a problem trying to get them in and Enkie's i can get right away... Boiler... you missed some great times at the autocross... I am thinking about having a meet up here at my shop... think it would be a go?

What and where is your shop? It would depend how far it was and when... I'm not exactly close to where you are, so it would have to be a worthwhile venture.
I wouldn't autoX on 18's... that's a lot of rim to be tossing around.... I'd probably stick to the steelies and upgraded tires or try to get some light 15's for cheap (but I'm sure the 18's ate most of the money up... I know for a fact those Bortex rims aren't cheap). I'm sure Sunday was a blast... and definately more fun than studying for engineering exams... but you gotta do what you gotta do. I don't know where Benton Harbor is... if you guys do that one, I might go if it isn't too far from Ft. Wayne, but for sure in Kokomo on June 28... that's only like an hour from me. I'll also have to check the Ft. Wayne Region schedule... the regions overlap, so there's probably some events close to you guys.

thats cool... yeah... the shop is just a little bit north of the tire rack... 20 mins. to be exact... well.. if you drive normal speed... yeah.. i dont plan on autoxing with the 18's... lol my mom told me i should get 17's so i could autox in style... but yeah... they werent too bad for me... i got hookups here and there... so yah... its good to know people... but still werent cheap by any means... the benton harbor one would be a little bit of a drive... i know that i have been there many a time and it is prolly about another hour north of south bend... maybe less.. but close... yeah.. i hear you with the exams... mine are coming up here soon... so of course the old professors are laying on the work... damned college stuff... let me know on the other autox's... my guys love it and wanna do more...

Great. Lets dedicate a post to, "I ordered some rims now lets jerk off." Seriously moderators need to do their jobs and stop rubbish like this from being posted. If you want to brag online about ordering your rims then post some pics to back it up.

Also, you have to be an even bigger moron for even thinking to autocross with 18" wheels. A real frickin moron.

Hey Mike, I know plenty of people that AutoCross with 18's, WTF is your deal, there are all kinds of post on these forums about what people bought and what is othe rpeople opinions, there is a real simple fix. if you dont like post then don't friggin read it..just pass it up, no need to be an jackass about it.

I ordered the rims... get off your high horse... the mods need to do their job... if you ask me.. they are doing a great job.. its guys like you who get pissed off about someone posting something they are happy they are getting that ruin posts... you want pics.. no problem.. once they are on.. i will post... or better yet.. i will send them to you so you can post them... i am not trying to start some flame war here... but you obviously took the time to read the post THEN write a reply... if you dont like what you see... dont read on... plain and simple... and there was no way in hell i was going to autocross with 18's... please... dont ruin a post of mine simply because i am excited about getting rims... i would think that belonging to a group like this you would be glad that a fellow member would be doing more to their car...
