ATTN: ppl who want to know more about SARS
it is not "airborne" airborne. you can only get is if you're talking with someone infected already. but NOT because of their "breath", but because everyone "spits" when they talk. and the "spit" is the only thing that can get you the virus.
that's why ppl are wearing masks! just dont walk near a person when they're coughing/sneezing, you're safe.
and that's why everyone is talking about washing your hands, cleaning everything up. becase when you talk, you might have spits that "land" on the table etc. and if you touch the table, and then you touch your nose/mouth etc....then you can get it too.
overall, i dun think it's THAT serious if you're really "clean". and not a lot of ppl died from it.
in hk, in the news a think two days ago, had this statistics chart:
530 ppl got infected
12 died
60 recovered
the rest i guess are still on medications (antibiotics) or soemthing...
so please...dont freak out and be ignorant like most "moms"... lol jk jk (i know the parents are really careful about this because they dont want their kids to get infected)
but relaly, this virus thingy has been making every chinese store going down...
i know that golden restaurant in pmall, is losing $80000 a WEEK! holy! thats sad...dunno how long they can stay there...
anyway, just wanting to drop this note to you guys so you guys dont have to FREaK out everytime someone suggests to go to somwhere "chinese".

Symptoms for this disease are:
- High Fever
- Shortend breath

I had excessive coughing and my throat was very dry ...

thanx for the info.....our world is totaly F U C K E D right now....i mean this whole War on Iraq thing is bad enuff as it is......and now this sars thing is scaring the **** outta everyone.......all businesses are really slow right now.....our world is in total chaos......its even scary going to a nite club or a pool hall these days

i'm really pissed off at how come everyone listens to rumours and everything without even thinking about if it's true or not before believing every word of it!!
anyway, the mall is quite quiet these days...i hope it will get better soon...
