old SI rims vs the rims on the 2002 EX

I just bought some ROH rims but each of them weight 25.5 which isn't good for autocrossing and stuff like that. Frist I was thinking about useing the rims that came with my 2002 civic EX but they lose tracktion too easy, Then I was thinking about the old SI rims like the once that come on the 2003 civic EX. I was wondering if anyone knows how much the SI rims weight? and if they are very good tires like tracktion wise?

The si rims are about 16lbs each.

If you want a good set of wheels at an excellent price that are lightweight and nice looking, get a set of Rota wheels. My 15"s weigh about 13lbs each. Rota is the way to go unless you can afford to go forged, which is rediculous on an economy car.

Exactly... also, you could look into some HX rims, since they are supposed to be lightweight for better fuel economy...

I guess it depends what tire you plan on running for autocrossing. If you stick to 14s, you can get a pretty decent selection... I haven't autocrossed in years, much less bought tires for an economy car.
