H11 price question & OEM Replica install issues

Hi everyone,
Busy civic weekend, took off the played out tezza's, installed OEM replica fogs( w/ issues) and also put my 17's back on

Anyways, I ordered the OEM replica's from procarparts (DEPO BRAND) and the wiring kit needs a bit of modification. The plug into the fuse box had to be modified to clip in, the plug under the glove box wasn't long enough, so I've gotta add wire to extend the wire, no biggie, but the other issue is the lighted switch always stays lit. Even when they're off, the light is on. - this is my main concern..

PS. I also wanted the lights to be able to go on w/ only the parking lights, and they do.
not sure if that's correct, before I bought them I was told they only go on w/ the headlights...

Anyways, thanks in advance

The lights will come on with the parking lights if you tie in to the parking light wire. You can find it inside the front fender by tracing to the parking light bulb. Then, of course the fogs will also stay on with headlights since the parking lights stay on too. If you go to one of the honda parts sites, they have the instructions for the OEM fogs. That might tell you something. There is already a plug inside the right front fender for OEM lights, but the procarparts plug is different. However if you can trace the wiring, that might be a good place to wire to. Dunno about the switch. The light should go out when the lights are off.

thanks for the help, I did route the wiring throught the front fender and whatnot. Since the fog lights are going on w/ just the parking lights & the switch light is staying on, I'm thinking i could've plugged it into constant power on the fusebox?

If that were the case then you could turn on the fog lights without the parking lights being on.
