****!!!
I just got my Pager alarm on the weekend and wanted to show everyone at work how cool it was. I told my friend to go outside and bang on the car a little to show everyone how it will page me to tell me that something is happening to my car.
Well he goes outside and bangs on it and then decides to bang on it again to set off the alarm cause the first time it gives you a warning chirp. Well on the second hit in the exact same spot cracked the **** out of my windshield. He barely hit it that hard!!
Makes you feel safe to drive a Civic eh?
Now I have to get my front windshield replaced and my deductible is $300.....OUCH!!
Has anybody had to replace there windshield?
What did you do?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Please Help.
Thanks

Yeah man its like shattered in the whole bottom driver side. Only the plastic coating is holding it together.....Cheap ****in windshields.
Most Auto Glass places will cover the deductible up to $100 and the claim doesnt affect your premiums for insurance.
I am just hoping I can find some place that will cover my whole deductible because I want to use that $200 for the kit.

Sorry to hear that man ... you can complain to Honda explaining how unsafe it will be if a stone fly to your windshield , shatter your windshield, block your vision while traveling on highway ...
if they accept your complain then your will get your windshield replaced for free ... otherwise I think you have to pay for your damage ...
good luck !!

Damn. Sorry to hear that! Just so soon after I had problems with a window... I think your windshield may have already gotten damaged somewhat by a stone chip or such for this to happen!
You really should test your alarm by kicking one of your front tires, instead of hitting on the car. I've learned the hard way, to test my suspension to *not* push on the middle of any body piece (= dent), haha...
Good luck... See if Honda will fix it. If not... <SIGH>
