That's INCREDIBLE!!!
Could you imagine the g's in that car?

(On a side note, isn't it interesting how someone can make a claim on the WRX forums and it's pretty much accepted, no matter how amazing. While on this site if someone makes a claim they'd better get their flame-suit on, and then when they show some pic's they'd better keep the flame-suit on because everyone's gonna get their panties in a bunch and yell "PHOTOCHOP!!!" Just an interesting comparison."

and the fact the WRX is proven "performace" car ...... while the civic is a very nice looking car, its hardly a performance vehicle

Anything is possible but 1.9sec is insane. That can't be on street tires..an F1 car does it in the same time and that's faster than most bikes.

its very believable, the car is geared for autocross and has a former rally transmission that allows for flat shifting from first to second.... heck, if you regeared our civics so they top out at 80 our 0-60 times would be pretty good too, lol

Yes, its amazing the differences in response. No childish gloating, nobody thinking they're the gods of photochop identifying, no immature accusations. But that's what happens when the majority of ppl on the site are closet FATF fans.

Man, you're posts have been right on point lately guysmiley.

Kinda makes you want to get a WRX...doesn't it?

(I regards to my posts being right on the point, I'm just trying to speak my mind. I've been on this forum for a while, and just recently I've been looking around on other forums. I thought that member's disrespecting each other was just how it was on the internet...but I was wrong. I can honestly say that there are very few other "serious" car forums where people get flamed and bashed as much as they do here. Shoot, the member's actually stand up for each other sometimes JUST BECAUSE THEY SHARE A COMMON INTEREST. I'm very familiar with the old phrase "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen," but there comes a point where someone just needs to turn the heat down a notch. Not a sermon, just a thought. )

BACK ON TOPIC: How much money do you think he put into his REX to make it that fast?

1.9 sec 0-60mph is really hard to believe. This is something I'd have to see for myself.

No its not.
Why? Boecause not only is that guy a FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE SITE, he also works for COBB TUNING (a powerhouse in subaru performance state side). Hes also proven that he has a stroked 2.6l engine. And the 2.6 block can take 900 (proven now mind you) Hp. On top of that, I believe hes also posted dyno plots.
Yea, Id say I believe him a LOT more then an 18 year old community college student who claims to have run 160 MPH in his automatic civic.
