anyone seen alpine usa's civic SI hatch with the center drive conversion? that thing is freakin SWEEET!!

Yeah I saw it on tv. The audio/visual cage that comes out around you is so f*cking cool.

just the same as the Alpine RSX Type-S. one seat, 6 speakers comes out beside you, trunk, 3 decks move in and out

Not the same...same paint scheme...but dont forget that its center drive, stick shift moved near right hand, 5 monitors for guages, Nitrous tanks in the doors (dont know if real) then rsx doesnt move but does have a similar amp rack...and dont forget the civic has 12's (i think) in the floor up front. its sick.

that center drive conversion is prettty sweet. all that fiberglass in the interior seems overwhelming haha

and that center console thing makes it seem like youre in a cockpit or something

what do u mean the RSX doesnt move? i just saw one video of the RSX rear deck moves and speakers moves too[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

i dunno about the rsx, but the Si ended up costing around 128,000 i believe.

You saw the SI then. If it only had one seat it was the SI for sure. I have seen them both in person and are outta control. Built by Steve Brown at Alpine. I talked with him and Jason Diggos (man responsible for the Rockford 350z along with a few other people). Imagine if they got together to build a car

Both cars are pretty amazing! The beauty about working for Alpine is that you get to see how much work is put into those vehicles. Steve Brown and Chris Yato are amazing when it comes to building cars and I feel lucky to work with the and learn from them, Not to mention that Im allowed to actually sit in the cars and drive them!!!(I love working for Alpine)
