ATTN: Type-S rear sway owner please read!

I asked this before but I have many diff answers. I am unable to hunt down a type-s sway from clubrsx. So I have to order one from acura dealer. However the dealer only has the bar left and no bushing(on back order 3-4weeks wait). Since my 2002 LX already has a rear sway bar. Can I re-use the one off my car or I must need the type-s rear sway bar bushing? If all I need is the bar I can just get the bar from the dealer. Thanks!

well... the bar on the rsx is thicker.... so yea.. you should be able to put the stock civic bushings on the rsx sway bar...

I am confused. Since the rsx bar is thicker, am I suppose to use bushings that are thicker not the other way around?

it should be a slightly tighter fit on the brackets... but it'll still work.. that's all i'm saying

you "can" use the stock bushings, but you'll definitely notice that they are tight. i'd highly recommend you either wait it out for the oem ones, or go get yourself a set of universal polyurethane bushings (19mm) from any performance shop.
i ordered mine and got the brackets, bar, and ONE bushing..... i waited a month for the other one to get here...... good luck with your hunting!....

try another dealer in your town. The stock civic bushing is too small.
