Best Lowering Springs
Best Lowering Springs
I was just wondering what are the best lowering springs out there for our cars. The ones that I seen all give a 1 to 2 in drop. But does any one know if sprint springs are good and how much of a drop do they give. I have ground control but it bounces to much. plz let me know thanks civic bros

I just got goldlines from the groupbuy 102 shipped...1.75" drop
They say the springs take a month to set, but ive got a friend that said he got 8 people in his vic for the day and he was SET
haha try this and you will get lower hehehe
that's way too low, im in the process of buying Neuspeed Sport Springs but won't install them until i get Koni yellows coz the rear is known to sag. As for your drop, you'll need plenty of stuff as well as money to get that right. Eibach Sportlines, Neuspeed Sport as long as you replace the shocks....the stock ones will leak and cause to sag.

Yeah a leaking strut shouldnt cause any sagging since ride height is set by springs and perches. You could take the strut cartridges completely out and the ride height would still b the same. It will however look saggy when the cars in motion since there wont be any dampening.

well what wheel size are we talking about, i ride on 15"s. both of my cars. and a blown shock is the result of bumpy roads plus the lowering spring and decreased shock travel. just give the best to your ride even if it will cost more.

i think 95 civics are just normally lower.. and low for some people is high for others. also depends greatly on tire size as well.
it was in honda tuning mag? you can't scan that page can you? i dont see how it would cause the rear to sag. maybe .1" but not anything noticeable...

Honda Tuning: Our test car had a severe case of droopy butt. The inexpensive rear springs were shot, and the car's handling wasn't just uncomfortable, it was downright dangerous.
--- Our test Civic was a great candidate for the Eibach/Koni upgrade. Having been the test bed for several suspension alternatives, the stock struts were basically destroyed. One was leaking terribly, and the others were simply worn out at only 22,000 miles, another reason to think hard about what springs you're going to put on your car. The owner had decided it was time to quit the guinea pig game and go with a combination that was sure to offer the ride and handling he wanted. The differences were immediately noticable. The ride was smooth, but still firm. The car's stance was improved significantly (it had a severe case of droopy butt before the install), and although it was no longer in the weeds, its stance looks better to our eyes.
rear springs were shot probably beacuse of the leaking struts/shocks.

not exactly sure what they mean by "rear springs were shot". it never said it had the droopy butt because of blown shocks tho.
saying the cars going to have a droopy butt due to blown shocks is basically saying the car can stand up just with shocks which isnt true... it doesnt take much weight for shocks to compress. on the other hand it takes quite a bit to compress springs.. springs hold the height of the car, shocks dont.
