REMOVING STOCK DECK DEACTIVATES ANTI THEFT?
Last weekend when I took delivery of my 03 Civic EX, the slimy warranty guy told me that replacing my stock CD deck would deactivate my anti theft system. He was trying to sell me the extended 6 year warranty and convince me from performing any aftermarket modifications to my car, so is he telling me the truth? WHat do I have to do to put a new deck in without messing up the anti theft system?

He's right... it'll remove the anti-theft alright. Unfortunately, the anti-theft you're removing is the RADIO anti-theft. The engine immobilizer will still work. Who cares if the radio anti-theft works if the radio's not in your car anyway?

yeah, like noted above, the antitheft is just to warn potential theves that it "wont" work if removed(thats what the code is for), the immobilizer is totally independant from the radio, it wont deactivate the immobilizer, so if someone tries to steal the car without the key, the immobilizer will prevent that by cutting ignition or fuel

Put in your own deck, and your own Anti theft. The only anti-theft is the radio, with the code. Only stupid, idoitic, moronic theives want the stock Honda deck.
