obx 4" exhaust

i got an obx 4" muffler for civic today. before i install it i have a few questions. what is the horsepower gain for a muffler like this? compared to the old sound of the car, how much louder do you think it will be? does this effect my gas mileage in any way?

not very much louder, but noticable, and not really any power, maybe 5hp at best, go and have you piping replaced from the cat back if you wanna feel hardly any difference

You will gain almost no hp at all! 1/2hp if you are lucky. Full catback is another story.

Just a muffler, you won't see any gain at all, maybe .1 HP gain. There is still alot of back pressure due to the restricted flow through the small exhaust pipes. I have an OBX cat-back and there is a small but noticable gain in HP. These bolt ons won't give you alot of HP.
