Hi, I really would like some feedback on the Motegi MR7's, I'm looking at either the Silver ones or the Gun Metal ones, my civic is Nighthawk Black...what would look better on my car...mabye one of you guys has a black civic and has these rims. I'm trying to visualize what would look better but I can't.

Everyone and their mother has those rims. They're played out like all hell and they're like 25 lbs. There's probably 30 or more people on this website that have them.

If YOU like them, then get them. It doesn't matter what other people say, because it's YOUR car. Sure, some people are inevitably not going to like the rims you get no matter which ones you get. But as long as you think they look good, that's all that counts.

That said, what size are you looking at getting? What kind of rim are you looking for? You mentioned gun metal or silver? Do you want a polished lip? I think the gun metal MR7s look nice. Are there any others you're thinking about?

theres a guy who has the black mr7's on his car in the members ride if u look under nighthawk black and coupe and yes to pics. i have a 03 nighthawk black car and im getting the mr7's in white. even tho everyone or a lot of people have them. many of them have them for a reason i think, because there nice.

 

yea they are nice. they take a hell of a beatin and still look good. i got chrome ones (so they are heavier than a biotch) but they look sooooo nice. and who cares if everyone has em? everyone has some form or variation practically of every rim out there. they are nice and they last forever and look sweet. i say get em.

Hondasport2k3 has a good point. Konig tantrums are very similar and weigh less, and moe expensive.

Konigs do weigh less but theyre practically the same wheel my friend has the konigs and he powder coated them gunmetal cuz he bought them in white they look sick he has a 99 SiR/Si in the states and its black goes really well.

i would get the konigs, i don't like the motegi logos that are on the MR7's. they are also slightly better made, and weigh less. either way, they are both quality rims and should handle a beating quite well.
