Does anyone know if the Tein SS dampers will work with their EDFC?

the EDFC's do not fit 7thgen civics....

EDFC's are meant to work on ALL tien coilovers...

hope that helps man!

I may be wrong on this, but i believe that the street series (Tein SS) are not designed to be copatible with the EDFC system. Same way that their "drift" series is not designed to be used with the EDFC either. There are series that are and series that are not compatible. Tein's website should provied you with your answers though.

According to tein's website (am I seriously the first to look?) the edfc doesn't work with our cars because there isn't enough room to put the motor(the one that spins the dial for you) in the wheel well. It will however work with the hatchback .

I read on the Tein site that the EDFC is NOT compatible with the Tein SS dampers. Not to mention the fit issues in our 7th gens. However, the FLEX series are EDFC ready.

Tein SS coilovers and the EDFC ARE compatible, there are several different edfc models that correspond to tein's different dampers. My father is running Tein SS's and has had his edfc installed and working in his RSX-s for 3 weeks. Now I am not sure about fitment with the 2001 civics, but it is a fact that they do make an EDFC kit to fit the SS dampers.

the 7th gen civic's do not have enough clearence to use the EDFC's... however the EDFC's are made to be used with any tien coilovers... i understand the confusion this may have brought... got it??

i think the reason why we cant use EDFC with Tein SS is that they do not como with upper mounts, cause if you ask Tein, the EDFC will work on any coilovers except those that do no include Tein upper mounts,

where do you think the EDFC is mounted??

EDFCs are so friggin overpriced. just controls the damper settings electronically ..... you can just adjust it with a couple clicks with the tool they include(with the coilovers)on the coilovers within 5 min and you're done
