GAY!!!!!

man i love the rain just not today

I'm going to work and i get water in my intake and now my car makes a knocking noise and took 10/15 minutes to start up

I go and pick up parts and I spin out on the 60fwy and go in a ditch. Now one side is higher than the other. and my car makes funny noises and my fan dont' work.

shoot this morning on the 710 this dumb *** in a 4runner is driving with out any lights on, parking, fogs nothing. so some goes to change lanes, keep in mind this is early about 0630 so its still dark out, the car cuts off the 4runner he gets pissed and goes to cut him off, slams on his brakes almost makes the other car run into him, he (4runner) lost control and did a 360 into the embankment.

some people are lame asses.

Keep your head up, atleast you are not injured, no matter what, a car/vehicle is just that a car/vehicle.

I've seen one totalled civic already today.. i'm lucky i can take surface streets all the way home instead of going on the death trap of a freeway AKA Hwy 101.

That sounds like the worst day ever... but i have to admit, it's kinda fun slipping and sliding in a civic (in an empty lot of course; not on the road).

Would you believe me if I told you that I made my tires skid all the way to 5th gear? Even if you don't , I did, going up mt. baldy on a smooth, wet road in a kinda uphill, pretty tight, all perfect conditions to do it in.

Today? I was near Mt Baldy (well at the bottom... the starting road) on Mountain Avenue around 12:30-1:30pm.

Yeah, sounds like a great investment. A $40 product protects a $2000 engine.

And you don't want to hydrolock... I'm sure you've heard by now.

It doesn't hurt you to have it... and it's only $40.

You know what they say, better safe than sorry.

i second that.... bypass valve will protect you with deep water submersions(sp?) but it still wont protect you from little splashes of water from going into your engine...

not really.. it maybe would've helped but it doesn't really do anything. my intake wasn't submerged. just a lot of water particles. Bypass valves are for those who get really sketchy of water.. and its an angle that aem uses for marketing.
