My friend beat an NSX with his GTS with a Injen CAI and an APEXi N1...but i think the NSX mis shifted...But somehow the GTS won....Nice Kill

It's just like the guy I work with. He got a 2003 Grand Am GT a couple days ago and he thinks the rear spoiler is creating downforce on the front of the car at 85 mph. Rep Power: 0 Ha, thanks. I needed a good laugh. Even with my "automatic" Z i blow past celica's like they are sittin still. I never posted cuz i would just get flamed, but yea, i was guilty of a fly-by on this celica the other day. Hes front line middle lane at a red light, im left lane behind a car. This joker in his "slow"ica gt keeps rollin his car back and forth waitin for the green and i know he didnt start doing it until he saw me in his mirror. Anyways, dumbass waits on the green for the car in front of me to get some good distance and i alrready knew exactly what he was planning on doing. (Trying to race me to that car so i would have to hit my breaks and slow down so he could "pretend" to win.) Anyways, by the time we were mirror to mirror he looked over to me and i saw him from teh corner of my eye, i just put my tranny into manual mode, downshift to 2nd and punch the gas. Before he even had time to realize what i just did, i was already in front of him in the middle lane (yes, i used my signals) and several cars ahead of that other car that was in front of me at the light. Funny thing is i remember his exhaust screaming as he "tried" (closest way of explaining) to keep up with me, yet it would have almost seemed like he wasnt trying.
That guy who posted that crap is on some damn good crack. I want some of that.....
I doubt anything short of a jet engine would get a new celica up to par with the stook and Z. (maybe not that drastic, but you get the idea.)

I hope you're not saying you beat GT-S in your 7th gen vic. Cause if you are, then you gotta be smoking something. Even the SI isnt competition for the GT-S. A GT-S would beat the living **** out of any 7th gen (with the exception of FI). 0-60 in 6.7 S (Integra Type-R territory) biatch
and FYI, a Celica GT comes in at 2,425 lbs. How is that as heavy as a rhinoceros' sack?

I burn the f**k out of them out of the hole, but lose it at 4.3k or so in second gear, they start pulling and just get another inch or 9 or 10 inches per second. Once I get headers and pulleys maybe I can hold them. AEM CAI and Tanabe racing medalion cat-back exhuast system.

Rep Power: 0 But I will say that GT or less is ****. I smoke them hard. Only one, a white phantom gt with purple hid-simulation headlights ( i dont think they are HID) and a TRD kit with the wing, kinda looks like the erebuni gt-r wing I think. Anyhow....

I've never seen a Gt-S beat a Prelude or Acura RSX type S. Come on why are you sticking up for Celica's? Read some posts on www.newcelica.org even owners think their cars are slow and now most if not all owners with a GT-S celica are pissed about how their motors have such a high compression that its hard for companys to make turbo's and superchargers for their car.
But I do agree with you on one thing Celica's are not slow they are quick but not fast. Auto celica gts runs 16's on the track!! that is not too quick IMO and look at the celica gt those things are the ones that are slow they run high 15's(stick) and auto's run high 16's. I was going to dump my civic and trade it in for a Celica but after reading oh so many posts from owners Im not to sure anymore. For a couple grand more then the civic to run 2 secs or less faster on the 1/4 ?no thanks.
