EX Sdn vs EX Coupe
Couple days ago I was taunted by an idiot, in a 2k2 Nighthawk Black Stock EX Coupe, on my way home from dinner with friends. I own a 2k2 Nighthawk Black Stock EX Sedan. I had resisted many of his sudden protrudes into my lane and the glances he and his four friends, all in the car, kept giving me.
I was alone in my sedan and as I stated earlier the coupe was packed with about 4 people. First rule I had assumed when racing on the street, or trying to, was not to do it with any other passengers in the vehicles? Not only for the weight disadvantage but also for their safety? Guess I was wrong.
Anywho this idiot just wouldn't give up. So as we approached a stoplight I made sure I was lined up nice and even with him. He gave me a confident glance and a few weak revs as though he thought he had a chance of winning. I was on the phone and really wasn't paying much attention to him, I was more so focused on the stoplight. It eventually turned green and we both shot off. My car of course being empty immediately shot about 2 or 3 car lengths ahead of the idiot. Seeing this sad sight I laid off the gas and presumed to drive at 40 or whatever the speed limit on that road was. He obviously thought the race was still underway and proceeded to pass and cut me off then he had the nerve to turn on his flashers...? WTF? This made me slightly [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] at which point I decided to finish the "race". I caught up with him in a matter of seconds. Seeing me he decided, I am assuming, to try and "block" me in, being we were coming up to a section in the road where it went from 4 lanes to 2. I got up to even with him just so I could look at his face one last time. He looked back at me and floored it, which only seemed to bog his car down. Knowing that his car wouldn't go much faster I gave him about a 3-second head start, mind you we were already doing 80. Then boom! I shot up, around, and in-front of the bastard in about 6-8 seconds and proceeded to flash my hazard lights.
Oh it was fun and yet another victory, although a lame one, for the STOCK EX CIVIC SEDAN!

Stupid *** cutting into your lane could have caused one massive accident if you really werent done racing and just granny shifting. Pop into gear, take off right into his back bumper cuz he had to show off. Stand proud with the sedan, the japanese do. (yea coupe guys, none over there......but we all knew that already)

Rep Power: 0 maybe he was just messing with you a lil bit. Cause who really uses the emergencies? lol. I only do it just to be rediculous thats all. I just race up to 5 over the speed limit and shut it down no matter what. THen I let the ricer do a flyby and get pulled over by the cops.
