Comfortability vs Price

Ok let me get some of these facts straight, I might be confused.

1.True coilovers (tien, B&G) ~ $1000+
2. Air Bag suspentions ~ $2500+?
3.springs with new struts (konis) 200+600 ~$800
4.sleeved coilovers with new struts (konis) 100-200 + 600 ~$700-800
5.lowering springs stock struts ~ $200
6.sleeved coilovers stock struts~ $100-350

+remember camber kits!

Did I get the order correct of bouncyness/comfortability, and semi range of price? Are there any other combinations I can do to lower a car?
help would be appreciated, and also if you use steps 5 and 6ride may become very uncomfortable and also blow out your stock struts right?

sleeved coilovers go up to 350 i think.. i just bought b+g full coilovers this week.. i can't wait to put them on!! and yes.. steps 5 & 6 is a risk.. imo i wouldn't do it... if i were to get lowering springs/ sleeved coilovers.. i'd wait until i get aftermarket shocks.. i wouldn't want to risk haveing the stock shocks blow out.. dont forget the camber kit

You can wait for tokico or KYB for shocks/struts or the HR cup kit is out. It is a matched shock spring combo that lowers 2" in the front and 1.7/1.8" in the rear. That would be a good setup if you want to go that low and don't want to adjust. YOu can probably get them for about $600.

the ride with lowering spring on stock shocks isnt too badd... it depends on the springs too tho. i know eibach prokit was actually designed to work fine with stock shocks. but then the drop is so small... i was short on funds before so i just got neuspeed sports. road great the first 6 months with stock wheels but now after 9 months and with 18s, it doesnt ride too nice..

oh and btw.. spanky is selling his air ride for $1500 ... its a badd *** setup.. you could even make the car hop with nitro. probably retails 2500.

It can depend on your road conditions, how low the car is, or even what year your Civic is. The lower you go the worse it gets, especially in the front not being able to suck up bumps or even small potholes.

I learned that if your car bounces too much while in a turn, you can lose control of the car and it could possibly spin out from weaker stock struts... but you'd have to be driving stupid fast for that to happen.
