EP vs Lx
I am going to meet up with an owner of the new si. We are going to have a few runs.
He said he has a cpu upgrade, what would that put him at, hp wise.
EP: cpu upgrade
Lx: header, SRI

I have an Si hatch and it will whoop the LX in stock form. The Hondata ECU flash should be giving him about 10-15hp (stock otherwise) throughout the rpm band and a higher rev limiter...about 7700 i think. Just the increased rev limiter is nuts. Have heard of people knocking 1 sec off the 1/4 mile with this upgrade. Being able to take the 1/4 mile in only 3rd allows one less shift = time!
But, I would add....bring it to the track.

I am going to try to set it up at the track. NO freaking freeways, busy streets.
rarely race, will be careful. Its worth it. Why am i going to back down ?? So just because the obvious (i will lose) i shouldn't try??? Not me.

New Si's are pretty damn nice and against an LX - unless he cant drive worth crap youll be seeing a lot of his rear end
dude, civic video = slow, thats one of the slowest acceleration ive seen in an si, dont get me wrong that dohc vtec really pulls top end, but man the new si's blow
