Adjusting Ground Control ~ HELP
THere's the allen key to adjust it to lock it from adjusting the height..
i can't turn that thing....it's so tight...only turn one of them out of four..
can some body give me a hand ?

i think you need to start working out [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] j/p..
try extending the allen key for more leverage.. maybe find a socket wrench that fits the allen key or something..

jack the car up in the front........
raise the coilovers up so that they rest against the top knotch and don't fall back down.....
rotate it so that the keyhole is pointing towards you.....
stick the short end of the wrench in the keyhole and so that the longer part of the allan wrench is at 3 o'clock.
twist counter clockwise 180 degrees with all your strength.....
should work....
how much is your car dropped??....mine is dropped 2.25 so the keyhole is practically hidden...
but if you have something less than 1.75....u can go out and buy the allan wrench that has a handle
and does not look like an "L" shape wrench

i haven't install the coilover yet.....i am going to soon....
but it's just hard to take off the allen screw.... i took two off..
but still two more..... i am going to buy the wrench....much easier.

they are tough when they are out of the car but when they are installed it is much easier. try slipping the sleeve over something that will keep it upright such as the handle on a floor jack or fence post. You have no leverage when you are trying to hold the sleeve in one hand and the allen tool in the other.or you can pick up one of those allen key sockets that will fit your socket wrench.
