Springs upside down?????
Hi all, just wanted to ask this question to make sure I didn't get bull$h!t answer from a tuffy mechanic. They installed my springs 1.75 drop on all four and the rear ones were installed upside down. Now because I didn't look underneath my car untill couple of months later when I installed the cat back exhaust I didn't know about the mistake. But since the springs are the same diameter on top as on bottom is that something I should fix now or will I be ok. And is there a difference in the drop.
The side where the coils are close together is on the bottom and the farther apart is on top.
So............
I was pissed when I found out but I was told that it won't make any difference and that it will or might. I even called the dealer and they weren't sure but tried to sell me the honda sport suspension.
So what should I do???

You know it is upside down cuz the letter on it are upside down and also the side where the coils are closer together are on the bottom. They should be on top. I have nuespeed sport springs.
I thought I had the same problem... I couldn't find the threads that this was talked about, so I won't flame you. But if you have either the Neuspeeds of the Eibachs the tight coils on the front springs go on the TOP. The tight coils on the rear springs go on the BOTTOM. I emailed neuspeed about this too to make sure. Here are some pics of the Eibach springs being installed... you'll see that I am right....

There is only one way the rear springs go in too, and that is with the tight coils on the bottom. They won't fit with the tight coils on top the way the lower perch is designed.
btw, I have Neuspeed sports

Don't follow the labels. Your mechanics installed your springs correctly.
