Could a 2001 Stock Civic beat a 2000 SI Stock?
I've been wanting to race my friend at the track ever since he bought a used 2000 SI. I was wondering if they are both stock, and stick....would I have a chance at all? He said it's damn fast..and he said from riding in my car...that his is much faster....is there that much dfference? What's the HP rating on those...like 160?

Lets see.. the Si weighs less, has beter gearing, better tires stock, 33 more BHP, and you want to know if you can win? If Michael Jackson can get married to a hot chick like Lisa Mare, I guess anything can happen.

He said he used to beat the guy but he raced him a few nights ago and he got OWN3D. He says his 3rd gear sucks. I hear 3rd gear is THE "gear". I guess his friend learned how to race.

btw, the d17 could not keep up with the b16. I had my girl race me with her driving the b16. Even with her driving (she's not very good with the standard) she can take me.

I used to own a 7thgen civic with a dc header with a magnaflow cat back and a injen cold air intake but now I own a 00 civic si. My old 7thgen could not even compare to my stock si. Everyone needs to realize that the 7thgen civics are slow and not worth tuning. I did
