Rear window Defrost...

Rear window Defrost...
Hey all.. tried to search for this problem here but only found stuff about increasing wattage or window tints.. Well here's my questions for anyone who knows about this.
The sedan that i have, rear window are tinted. but noticed this problem lately... My top third of the rear window defrost is not working whenever i turn on the rear defroster. Only bottom 2/3 work. Seems to be a problem with the wiring or connection with the top wires.. so no electrical resistance is flowing through the top circuit.. anyone else with this problem.. and any help would be great. thanks again.
