SHift **** (Searched)

Anyone know how to make the shift **** and the boot snug without the gap?

I did a search and people are using plumbing tubing and electric tape..... but it seems like it'll come off =(

Nope.. Electrical tape gives out and hardens up in the cold and the shift boot falls..with Hockeytape..it's harder to slide the boot over the tape..but it's not gonna come loose
