on just about every car i have seen ( haven't tried it on a dx 01) you'll be looking for a plastic top that pushes into the crack. that will pry off with a flat head screw driver exposing a screw that holds the crank.

Wrong. It's held in with a window crank clip. Check out the pic below. To do it CORRECTLY, you'll need a window crank removal tool. You can probably get one at an automotive store or stereo shop for $15 or so. Here's a link to one online for $14.50. Look halfway down the page. You simply insert the tool behind the crank until the ring pops off and pull out on the crank. Be careful not to lose the ring or you'll be going to buy one soon.

The DX also has two screws behind the inside door handle pull to remove before the panel will come off. To get to them, remove the one small screw in the pull sections and pull out that piece. You'll see them now. Don't forget to take out the screws behind the door handle trim piece at the top. After those two areas are done, take out the sail panel where the sideview mirror stick is located and carefully pull out on the panel. When it's loose, lift up and it'll come off.
If you have any other questions, ask away.

There's also a door release linkage rod you'll need to unhook behind the door release handle. You'll see it when you take off that trim piece.
