Axis seven 18"

First, are these a good wheel??
second are 18s too big for a slammed civic
I live in Michigan so the roads suck. would 17s be a smarter choice. I know everyone asks this ,, but i need some reassurance.
Oh and 35 or 40 on the side walls.???
Thanks for any input!!

I think Axis makes a very good wheel for the price. For the tires I would go with the 215/35-18, because the 40 series look too tall. I say go with the 18" and just be careful where the potholes are and you will be fine.

Good Luck finding a store that sells them. Try Spy Engineering, supposidly they are the main distributor for Axis. I was going to get these rims and they were the only store who had them. Oh yeah, these rims are discontinued too. They are going to the 3 piece design of this rim and they are ugly as sin. So I still love these rims, but just remember if something ever happens you're screwed because no one will be able to get a replacement rim.
