is it common for the steering wheel to be tighter after install

i just installed my neuspeed strut bar and the steeringwheel feels tighter
is that normal

or am i making it up

Hmmmm. I don't think it actually has anything to do with steering. Just the suspension.

Yes normal. It's stiffening the subframe, which your steering rack is attached to.

Tight steering =

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
Its not so much that the steering wheel itself will be tighter but the response will be tighter and different now that the chasis is more stable rather than flexing at the turns and lane changes

mine did that, but not like when turning out of our driveway but when you corner and stuff... i say it got stiffer when you turn the steering wheel like 20 degrees.

It'll make a difference whenever stress is put on the wheel. Could be turning out of your driveway if it's on an incline.

you know what I mean nightshade.... It will only affect something when the vehicle is moving, if your are stopped the steering will feel the same....

Yes normal. It's stiffening the subframe, which your steering rack is attached to.

Exactly. I noticed a significant improvement when I installed my DC Sports strut bar. Very cool effect.

yes it does stiffin the steering a little bit and i also experienced slightly stiffer braking too.
