Xenon Body Kit, rims, etc.
I want to hook my car up nicely...i've looked around and my favorite body kit is the Xenon (i like the simple clean look). I went and talked to Nopi and they quoted me $794 for the body kit. Then i went to a place where my friend's friend worked and talked to him, he quoted me $724...is that good price?? I talked to the owner also and he was a cool guy and told me to shop around and find the lowest price i could on everything and that he would give me a lower price on all of it. I want to get that and also some rims. I want 17's but he thought 18's would look a lot nicer and theres not price difference he said. I was looking at some Motegi's (SP?). I asked him about the speedodmeter and odometer being messed up with getting bigger rims and he said the odometer wouldn't be messed up and the speedometer would only be like 2 or 3 mph off. is all this true? Nopi also told me that the calibration wouldn't be off at all either...From what ive read on here, it does! So please help on deciding if thats a price and if Im getting a load of BS on the calibration. (The only reason I care about the odometer and stuff being off is because im going to have this car for a long time and its technically my moms till i graduate college so shes making the rules on it)...THANKS

I think you can get a better price on the kit, but check shipping first it might be more than you'd think. As for the odometer/speedometer inaccuracies, use the Tire Calculator when you find the tire code on the tires you're thinking about getting for your new rims, and see how much it will affect it. Some change this less than 0.5mph, some sizes change it 2-3. Get it as close to possible as stock.
