How are H&R Springs?
I'm looking at getting either a set of Neuspeed Sports or H&R springs for my 01 EX coupe. I don't want to lower a LOT, but would like a little more drop than a ProKit. I could get a good deal on the H&Rs, but I'm not really sure how they stack up.
Buy the h&r's from me!!! LOL
I have to disagree about the lowering however. The pro-kit only drops like an inch or so. H&r's drop at least 1.5". The front is listed at 1.75" and the rear is 1.5" and the drop on my car was that much, if not a little more.

prokit lists like a .8" drop but people reported like a 1.2-1.3 inch drop
h&r lists 1.3 and people reported 1.3-1.4" drop. the h&r race drops 1.75" but have been discontinued
neuspeed sports/eibachs drop around 1.6-1.8"
find someone with those springs and compare. keep in mind tire size can make a big difference in appearance
for me
1) neuspeed
2) goldlines
3) eibach (#3 cause they're way overpriced)
4) h&r
they all are great springs tho

I'm not all about dropping the car more than 1.5 anyway... if you guys saw my driveway, you would understand. We'll see how it goes, if I don't like em, I'll just get something else.

LOL! I dont blame you, I have the same problem...my driveway sux. I lowered 1.75 front and 1.6 rear and everytime i go in and out of the driveway i scrape my car a bit and my stock exhaust. And imagine if i got like greddy exhaust it would scratch everytime. Im thinking of redoing my driveway I can add an exhaust to my car lol.
i have H&R sports, 1.3 drop. currently i also have 17x7 wheels with 215/45/17 tires. my rear have less then one finger gap and my front has one finger gap. its the subwoofer box that made my car lower in the rear or that i have no rear camber kit... oh yeah.. i also have the ingalls front camber kit. the car rides smililar to stock. i have many complements on the ride quality. some say it feels like stock.
when i had my alignment done, my front was perfect.. .01 degree and the rear is 1 degree negative camber.

Where does everyone get the wrong information on the specifications for the H&R springs. The "Stage 2, sport springs" lower the 7th Gen civic front- 1.75", rear- 1.5" part # 51866. The "Stage 3, race springs lower the 7th Gen civic front- 2.3", rear- 1.75" part # 51866.88. Now spread the word. This is the facts, via the H&R catalog, if you don't believe me call them- 1-888-827-8881.

uh.. normally i think the H&R sports lower 1.75 but on our cars its more like 1.3". i think thats what it says in their catalog as well. and the race, they discontinued it but that was more like 1.75"
