New Projectors?

I just got my projectors in and I have a question about them. I did the thread search and didn't find what I was looking for. The low and high beam bulbs are actually soldered in with a connector on them. Is this common? I know the bulb size is an H4 and there is no way that I can tell to change the bulb on either the low or high beams. The parking and turn signal lights are correct, I just wasn't sure if this was common in projector headlights or not. Any help or infor is appreciated. I haven't been able to put them on and see due to the fact that my ride is in the shop getting some mod's done. Please help!

I believe they are TYC, Civic 2001-up Projector Lamp, chrome/blue. Ordered them from a site called Racer Wheel out of Cali.

Look at my post on this same page, just below yours. Do they look like mine?

TYC's take H1 bulbs not H4.

With my TYC's the high/low are connected to a plug that plugs into the stock one. This plug splits the line into the high/low.

Mine has a cover over the opening on the back for both the low and high beam, when you pull the rubber cover off of either one they each have a little metal wire type clip that holds them in. The bulb is a little bigger than the 194 bulbs. Then I have the two openings for the parking and turn signal lights. Then there is a 4 prong plug that comes off the back. When I cleared my original headlights, I do not remember an actual plug coming off of the light assembly itself. Very Confused if you can understand?

There is a plug that comes off the back. It plugs straight into the back of the new lights

Been almost a year since I cleared my lights...just don't remember it. Oh well I guess I will find out once they are hooked up...and see what they look like...saw them on the site and liked them.
