and you can only get it on a NEW car. They will not install it on a car that's already been titled. When a dealer needs a "FP" car, they have to give the VIN to Honda before they can even get any of the parts, and if Honda finds that the parts didn't actually go to that car, the dealer risks losing the ability to sell the FP cars and other "rare" cars, such as the Accord 6 sp/V6. Or at least that's what the parts manager at my dealer told me, and he's usually reliable.

the dealership here will part them out but thewy cost a small fortune, the suspension i was interested in but its 2200.00 for the setup not including install but they will part them out down here but then again i am sponsered by my dealership so that was a lowered price
VTEC01EX - Which dealer do you talk to in town? I know a guy in the lower part of Ohio that says he can get just parts from the package...... I'm curious to know what dealer in town told you they won't sell the parts.

mikalem- Most likely VTEC01EX is talking about College Hills Honda. That is where we get our stuff from alot. Which dealer do you go to bc there are lots of ppl that would love those wheels. Name, number?!?!
The new honda performance is an embaressment. Have you seen the ads on the back of magazines, they try to make it look like its actually engine performance. All it is is a few stickers some lame rims and suspension, and its like 4500 dollars. Screw that, how LAME. Aftermarket would be cheaper, and most likely better. GM has factory performance for the Cavalier, do you know what it is? A SUPERCHARGER!!!! Get with it Honda.

Yeah, I was talking about College Hills, although I also asked Tim at Roush when I was in there getting a part a few weeks ago.[hr]

Yeah, that's him, service manager Tim. I had to get a stupid grommet when I bought my FIPK because the one that came with my car was sitting in my basement in Cleveland. He was at the counter when I picked it up. I'm sure with your hook up, you might be able to get Tim to give you some wheels, which I could in turn buy off you... on a payment plan, of course.

it is a rip off, cheaper and better to build it up yourself with aftermarket, although I think the idea behind hfp was that you get the goodies, and nothing they put on screws with your warrenty

The ONLY reason to get the package, and I say ONLY, is to just to have everything covered by the Warranty. Although, I would never pay a markup like that just for damn mods that ain't gonna do **** for the car.
