Removing rear plastic pillar
Hey guys, Im tryin to install my 6x9s and I can't seem to take the rear plastic pillar off.
Im using Ghostly's DIY, Bellz was really blunt and the lack of pics didnt help.
I took off my seats and all the hardware to the side rear panel. (1 plastic screw in back, 1 phillips in armrest, and the two bolts for front seatbelts.)
I mite be missing something but I dont think so.
Thanks guys!

Rear column? I donno. I always called it pillars.
They run vertical from the roof of the carpets down to the seatbelts. They are grey and made of plastic.
I cant find a way to pry it so I can yank it off.

as i recall..u first need to remove your side step (connected by 2 bolts), because the side step overlaps the "rear plastic pillar.'' Once that is off all you need to do is pull on it. It is quite hard to remove the entire thing because the rear seat is in the way.

Try to put your finger next to the "poppers" when your popping it out if you can. Or have someone go into your trunk and pop them out with a screwdriver while you pull on it.
