So I got this new mirror from honda today for my drivers side rear view on my ex coupe. Before I go in there unscrewing all this crap I was wondering if I have to take off the panels of the doors for the tweeter pod to pop out. I looked at the diy for installing new door speakers but it was kind of vague. On the diy he said to use "panel poppers", is there anything more handy that would work the same?

yes u can just pop it off...
roll ur windows down and pull from there...its only held on by 1 clip.

just pop it off, no need to remove door panel

yeah, there's a clip in the center, and a lip at the bottom that goes behind the door sill. So pop the top of it out first, then you'll be able to work the bottom out.

I have to I have to take off the stupid door panel anyways to get the two screws on the bottom of the mirror housing.
