Need everyones help, Checked the DIY's allready

Okay,
I primed, painted, and clear coated my instrument plastic piece, the first piece that comes off, hard to explain, but if you've put in indigo gauges, you know the one i mean. I painted it brushed aluminum, pics to come! Here is were I need the help:
I want to do the trim pieces around the front heating vents, door handles, and possibly the center piece around the ac, radio. That one big piece. How do these come off? Do the door handle pieces just pry off? How about those vent pieces? I bought the alum. trim kit but am so impressed with how they came out painted, i'de like to try that first. anyone....., Someones got to know....

I ADDED A PIC!!!!

okay,
I need to elaborate, there is a diy on removing the center trim piece done by 01CIVICEX, but i'm still a little confused on how to do it, also how involved is it? sorry but the diy was a little lacking. Also, that little plastic piece inside the door handle, after i pry that off, and remove the two screws, does that hole plastic piece come off, or is it connected to the door panel itself? BTW I have a 2 door EX if that matters.

you cant take off the door handle without removing the whole door panel because the handle part is connected to the metal rod that pulls the latch to open the door its really not that hard to take off but keep TRACK of which screws you got from where unlike i did and had to guess a few of them. there are only like 2 or 3 screws anyways but different sizes. anything else let me know.... about the center of the dash around the radio, as long as you remove the bolts on the bottom like in the diy it should just pop out (the entire thing) ....dont know about the vent removal though.

BZ,
I don't want to take off the handle, just the trim piece around it.

Hey Bayou2K1, are you possitive the heating vents up front (drivers and passenger) just pull out? I am just wanting to be possitive before I brake anything.

to get that trim piece out you have to disconnect the rod that the handle pulls to open the door.

Hey BZ,
how do you disconnect the rod that the handle pulls
Do I have to pull the door panel back away from the door to get a better idea of what you mean?

The trim piece around the vent, which I'm assuming is attached to the vent as well, just pulls out? The piece that says "open" or "close", rectangular in shape.

Once you get the handle unscrewed and you can see the rod, there is like a clip that is holding the rod to the door handle. You push that clip towards the door and it will slide over the rod with a little force and the rod then lifts up and out of the handle and there you go. Just try to look at it very closely w/ a flashlight you should be able to see what I'm talking about. The clip rotates and it will slide back away from the rod and the rod will come out of the clip towards you, the rod then simply lifts up. Once you figure it out you'll feel really stupid, I remember I did Good luck!
