Well, that sounds like an internal issue which might mean you're fawked. Did you bend the needle or turn it clockwise too much? Do you hear a piece of plastic rolling around in the gauge cluster? You might need to get yourself a new gauge cluster man.

Wait a sec. The needle is falling again after you too off the new gauges? Are you sure it wasnt just sticking to the new gauges? Try re-installing the gauge cluster and see if it works ok.

No prob. But yeah, at this point, might be a good idea to have a shop do it. If the needle is still broken and it just happens to be working right now, you can blame it on the shop if it breaks 'again'.

God luck,

im sorry but i had to go to work but i want to thank Krepoort again for the fast replies
on the way to work i noticed them stickin but tonight on my way home around 12 everything was ok again
when the origanl guages light up at night now you can see a little glow behind the messed up one compared to the others. i think i am goin to go to a shop and get them install it now. this will officially be the first DIY i couldn't perform

hey speedracer32, I had the same problem. I was very carefull installing my gauges, and I f**k#ed up my needles as well. The tach would jump to 2000, then 3000 and stay there, it wouldn't fall until I pushed in the clutch, then it just fell to the bottom. I had the glow behind the needle as well. Mine were still under waranty so I had the dealer replace them. I've done a lot to my car myself but am not touching those friggin gauges again. Indiglo gauges are'nt worth that much to me.

My car was still under factory warranty. I just told them it started doing it all by itself. What I don't get was I looked at the printout and the cost for a new cluster was like $120. That was what the cost for "parts" was, seems kinda low to me, who knows. I hate those cheap indiglo gauges. I got the six color ones. There junk, everyone I've talked to said the either have to superglue them or use double sided tape to hold them down and keep them from lifting-garbage. I don't know about you but I;m not about to superglue anything to those gauges
