wiring question
Well my cobra led windshield spray lights are done! I must say I got a lot of help from this board. Finding the right place to go through the firewall, I at first was looking on the drivers side, no wayyyyyy! And I also didn't know how to remove the center console, but found the info in the DIY. Man that thing kicks! Well, I hooked them into the parking light relay, at the bottom of the inside fuse panel for know, wrapping the power wire around the prong, then plugging it back in. I mounted a switch just to the left of the cigarette plug in, using the exisiting switch thingy. I tell you, it was a lot of work though! The only thing I had a problem was I had to put a 20 amp fuse instead of the stock 15 amp fuse under the hood for "small lights" I keep blowing my parking light fuse. Thanks again to everyone who pointed me in the right direction!
HEY cvc2k2!
I checked the DIY and saw no mention of where to tie into the parking light power wire near the kick panel
Can you explan to me where exactly it is and which wire?
BTW, does anyone know if i'll hurt anything running a 20 amp fuse in the 15 amp slot for the parking lights?

im glad you decided to look for the Parking Light Wire from the DIY portion of this website. Parking Lights RED/YELLOW (+) BEHIND THE FUSE BOX. your interior fuse box. i recommend that you should purchase a Light Tester if you haven't done so. i do not have any picture of the location. but it is on the driver side.. you will need to remove the plastic panel on the bottom of the dash. it should be bundled up with all the other wires. if you currently have an alarm installed... follow the wires comming out of the brain and it should guide you to the parking light wire. remember.. it is SOLID RED.. with a YELLOW stripe. i have uploaded a diagram i pulled off this website... they called it "FLASHING" i guess cuz once you have hooked up your alarm to that wire.. your parking lights will flash..
you should also use a T-tap to connect your lights to the PARKING LIGHT WIRE.
