I NEED TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO MOLD A....
Hey guys, first off, dont mess with the VIS Octane kit, i spent about 15 hours getting it to fit just right.....
Now my question what is the best way to mold a 'glass kit? with more 'glass, using bondo, what? I am one of those people who has to do everything my self for some reason (it is pride
) anyway, your help is greatly appreciated!

yeah shops just use more glass and bondo to mold it and shape it right. the octane kit looks a little like a widebody when its molded. but be verrrrry careful. id advise to mold only if youre gonna be driving your car to show only. all the vibrations from daily driving will eventually crack some parts of the molding. especially if you wanna do it ourself, id advise against it unless youre reallly experienced. just my 2 cents.

friend just bought a octane for his 2001 accord we tried to make it fit and it was't happening now he is going to have to pay more to have it installed
Since it is a fiberglass kit, you should be able to reinforce the back part of the kit you it will not vibrate. If you really wanted to do it right, you would sand off the paint where the body kit a going to cover on the body and cement the kit to the metal and then bondo and glass it. My friend had skid plates under his car so he can go over speed bumps without cracking his kit. It worked great, but all the speed bumps he went over eventually evened out. just a thought.
