You should just be able to remove that triagle piece as it is held on by clips. Behind the triagle piece you should find three nuts/bolts or screws. Those hold the mirror on. Loosen them and the mirror should come off. You should not have to remove the entire door panel.

I have a sedan so I don't have the tweeter pods but every honda I have owned has been the way I described above.

put a gun to your head and pull the trigger...

dude, the tweeter/triangular pods pop right off. you'll need to use a little muscle, if you have any. actually, if you have to use muscle to take off the triangular pieces, thats kinda sad. they come off rather easily. u can always use a flat tip screw driver to pop it out by putting the edge against the flat side next to the window.

You can't just take the tweeter off because the bottom 2 nuts are not accesible with ordinary tools..!!!!!

I suggets you take off the panel so you don't scratch anything like i did! If they are m3's with LED's you def have to take it off if you want a clean wiring job PM me and i'll tell you how to do it.
(wiring) as for the panel follow the DIY

Toca is right........we had to take my door panels off to put on my M3 signal mirrors. To get the signal part to work you have to run that wire through the door crack to the car and hook it into the turn signal.....it's a damn bitch.....

good luck
