That's right, I just noticed this. They have a bunch of Adobe PDF files for download. just search like you would for a civic, whatever year, and they'll be displayed.

I got this from AllData while trying to pull TSB info:

Quote
The American Honda Motor Company, Inc. has requested ALLDATA restrict access to Acura and Honda repair information by individual consumers. You will unfortunately not be able to register for access to Acura or Honda vehicle repair information, technical service bulletins or recalls.

We kindly request that all comments should be directed to:
American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
P. O. Box 2206
700 Van Ness Ave.
Torrance, CA 90501

Honda: 800-999-1009
Acura: 800-382-2238

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
As for the NHTSA's site, those must have been put up very recently. I've never seen them before...and it it just me, or did the number of TSBs posted there more than double since about a month ago?

Here's one that has actual repair info: Squeaky clutch pedal fix

edit: Diagnosis and fix for rear main oil seal leak
edit: Fix for window rattle
edit: Front suspension noise
edit: Driver's seat rocks back and forth
edit: Inaccurate fuel gauge
edit: Cracked fog light
edit: Engine makes rattling noise
edit: Noisy or stiff steering
edit: Windshield cracking in corners
edit: Rear seat lock hard to turn

That's it for now...gives people w/o warranties hope to fix it themselves.

Use this link and then select your model year. The Adobe files should be listed in the description of the TSB, just keep scrolling down.

you only need to pay the $35 for the ones that aren't already posted (standard government rate for searching public records), and with any luck they'll post them all. It also turns out that any of you who live near Washington DC can go to the NHTSA "Reading Room" to look at any TSB and copy it. If there is any fee, its probably only for the copy paper. I got this answer from the folks at NHTSA:

"The TIS Reading Room is a repository for the public documents of NHTSA. Manufacturers are required to send TSB's to NHTSA, and we have them accessible in various formats, depending on the date of issuance. The oldest (issued from the 1960s - mid-1980s are here on microfiche and can be copied). Bulletins from the mid-1980s - late 1990s are on an in-house optical disc system. Newer TSBs are on a separate optical disc.
All can be viewed and/or copied during our public hours of 9:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. (barring a computer system outage, which can happen, but it is not a frequent occurrence). The Reading Room is in Room 5110 at 400 7th St., S.W., Washington, DC and all visitors must go through security."

Thank you .... My car qualifies for FIVE of those, where the dealer claims nothing is wrong. And there's a few more, noises that I could not find on that page. I now have some ammo the next time I go in there.

To fix this problem, replace exhaust pipe B with P/N18220-S5D-A12,H/C 66932 12. The replacement pipe has a different shape to compensate for thermal shock.

1. Raise the vehicle so that the front wheels are at chest height.
2. Remove the left front wheel.

NOTE: Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it may damage the paint. If brake fluid does contact the paint, wash it off immediately with water.

3. If the clutch master cylinder is equipped with a retaining clip holder, remove it. Remove the retaining clip.
4. Remove the clutch line fitting from the clutch master cylinder by accessing it through the opening at the tie rod end.
5. Apply a thin coat of silicone grease to the clutch line fitting and to the opening in the clutch master cylinder. Do not use silicone spray; it could damage the O-ring.
6. Reinstall the clutch line fitting onto the clutch master cylinder.
7. Reinstall the retaining clip and the retaining clip holder.
8. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
9. Check to see if the noise is gone from the clutch pedal. If the noise is gone, the repair is complete. Go to step 10. If the noise is still present, look for other causes.
10. Reinstall the front wheel.
11. Test-drive the vehicle to check for proper clutch operation.

1) What browser are you using? If its AOL that could screw anything up.
2) How are you downloading them? The best way is to right-click on the link and then choose "save as". make sure its being saved as a .pdf file.
3) Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed? If no - get it. If yes, once you are finished browsing the Internet, find the file using Adobe or Windows Explorer (assuming you use a PC) and open it.

By the way, if anyone has used these new TSBs at a dealer, let us know what happened. Thanks.

You can always get a HondaCare warranty if your car is less than 42 months or 42k old...
