Your best mod so far to go faster has to be your audio equipment. You've knocked 1 sec off you 1/4 mile time with all that gear. Bumping incrases HP and torque!

A torque converter will do nothing or little to an unmodified car.

Aside from blowing money on nitrous or a custom turbo, I'd say the best way to drop your 0-60mph would be to invest in a shift kit.

I hate to sound negative, as I love my 02 Auto EX Sedan, and would love to make it faster.

But,

Get a 73 2Dr Dodge Charger for $500, pull the interior out, drop a 440 in it and beat it like a red headed step child to 60 whenever possible.

Save the odorless - no wire harness fire - kidneys don't hurt - where the he** did my gas money go - driving to for the Civic!

BTW, Anybody else hate the lame shift gate on these things? I want to (accidently) stick this car in nuetral every time I drive it. I have bumped it to rev limiter numerous times.

What shift kit would you recommend?

Are there any aftermarket shift gates/handles?

Level 10 will do one for our cars. Personally, I prefer to modify an automatic's valve body myself, but since there isn't alot of info out there Level 10 would be the best bet.

You're car will accellerate faster by driving it off a four story building, than you could ever make it...

Actually, what you do is take those honda/civic/lx emblems, go by a real car like an rx7/supra/wrx/m3/etc and tack those babies on the back.

It's simple, and much cheaper.....heh

Also, it is scientifically-proven that if you apply fat-reducing creme to your Civic, you can increase the acceleration time from the weight reduction. Consult you latest fitness magazine for details.
