Any Danger of Leaving a CAI on over the winter!
well exept for your engine freezin! lol
no seriously though i don't want to take my aem off it was too much work puttin it on!!!
i have the two piece intake could i just take the bottem half off and put the filter on the middle?
ohh and i have a bypass don't know if that makes and difference!!!!

I've heard that the filter gets dirty much faster in the winter due to the sand and salt they put on roads when it snows. So you would just have to clean it more often. If you don't have heavy rain or puddles where the filter may get wet and freeze when it's cold enough, then you should be fine.
By the way, the bypass valve does nothing unless the entire filter is submerged in water.
I've also heard that with AEM CAI you can take it apart and convert it into SRI. This would be the best way to go.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I left mine on last winter too.. and i had no problems, but i cleaned it before & after the winter.. but we did have a pretty tame winter too [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
