Before........and after!!!!!...and good memeories (SNIFF..SNIFF)
As some(most) may be aware, I selling everything off of my car, and my car.....so this weekend I spent...ALL WEEKEND...putting my car back stock.....intake.....then header......the strut bars (both rear and front)......exhaust.....suspension....all the way down to AEM oil cap........then reset ECU.....and then the test drive set-up that I haven't done it 2 years......drum rolllllllllll!!!.......guys performance wise.....slightly...and I mean slightly better..with factory set-up...the only place all that money I spent was really significant..performance wise,...was down shifting at higher rpms at higher highway velocities...which is understandable. Now suspension wise,......everything was well worth the money...........I loved my civic coupe,....and I don't regret spending any of the money at all....but just thought I'd share my thoughts and experiences...for those new comers...like me who want to know, if the money they want to spend on their car will yield something positive in the end......well YES..and NO....but I still enjoied every bit of it. NOW, where from here.....Lucky for you guys and all the DIY's I've given to this site over the last 2 years.....I now have a new project...well actually two new projects........I also have a 2002 Civic Sedan........which I only plan on visually tricking out....since I now know where to better invest the money............PLUS........the new kid in the family....I traded my civic on a Mazda Protege5 yesterday....DOHC 2.0L....the car is really nice and very sporty....handeling is awesome....stock HP is stronger than my civic as well as acceleration...and much better suited for my new baby than the civic coupe....LOL...Anyway, I'm just switching gears in the civic family and going sedan route....and 5 door wagon route.....I'm a family man now....LOL...Peace guys..and the start of a new car saga.....Later!

Having just taken my 17's and AEM off (for the same purposes as u) - I can say that the AEM makes a difference, but you take a more than equal hit on mileage.
What car did u have, and how much did u get 4 it?

dude ur gonna love ur sedan. sometimes i wished i had bought a coupe like when im driving all alone, but there were times when me and my buddies hang out and i love it when i dont have to fold my front seats just to let them get in. they can just get in without even disturbing me, because i know i will be annoyed as fvck if they do that.
so overall, u cant get wrong with the civic sedan. very simple car and you will love it.

i have some grudge on why i didnt buy the coupe, but when i count all the pros and cons of both at the end i got no regrets buying my sedan, bwuahahahhahahaahah
Yeah, when I stripped my old 2k1 5speed down to stock to sell it to my sister, I realized that the car was actually FASTER with the stock airbox and exhaust on it, not to mention the 15 inch factory wheels, instead of the clunky 17s that were on there.
My IS, however, is hella fast w/ the mods.
Running 14s all day w/o NOS or F/I feels good.
