Thanks. Yeah, that's a remote control for the headunit. I usually keep it in the little hole on the driver's side door panel behind the power window controls. It fits perfectly there. 4 channel, 4 channel? As in amplifier? Nope, not yet. I just use the headunit's amplifier for now. They need to be amplified though, especially those speakers. They're rated to 60W RMS up front and 80W RMS in the back. The headunit only puts out 20W RMS.

oh yeah.. just needed someone to point it out to me

yeah I'm running an alpine 4channel amp on my stock speakers. the sound from a power amp is so much cleaner! even on the stocks. i do need to upgrade my speakers though, but it seems like its such a pain to do the DIY.

No, you're right. This is a problem with the earlier SSM's. It seems like the doors were painted seperately from the rest of the car.

All of the prices for my modifications can be found on my Member's Rides page. I list the price shipped including any tax and other misc. fees. The battery for me $112. I got it from: BatteryWeb.com It's the "75/35-925".

I'll paint them as soon as I master painting with my paint gun. Yep yep.
The back of the bumper is black because it's not painted, it's just the plastic (it's black).

If you really want those door sills, then here's exactly what I told someone else who wanted them:

Quote
Well... The materials cost about $17 as last checked. There is about 5 hours of work. I get paid $8 an hour by my dad for chores, so that's what I charge for any other thing that deters me from chores. That's $40 for the labor. Then there's the shipping cost. I'm not sure how much that would be, but the package would be longer than usual, so maybe $7? That's $64. That's kinda a lot for door sills, but they are nice. Easy to install too. Maybe it would take me only 4 hours to make. That'de be about $56.
If you've got $56 laying around collecting dust, then let me know.

I agree. I wanted one with that part merged into the CF hood. I should have actually just left it without the trim piece on there. I think that would have looked better. Bryan did this.
