some **** broke my right side passenger seat window and stole my stereo unit.

the bastard pulled out the whole center console unit.

im wondering how much would the whole center console unit would cost to replace.
n 1 of the wires with a sensor on it has the sensor cracked.


my insurance is $500 deductable. so im just gonna buy it and repair it myself if the price of the center console unit is cheeper than 500.
please help me out.

luckily nothing else was stolen.(had nothing anyways)

- Its the worst thing in the world that you can work hard to finally buy something, and then some s**t can just take it from you. I got my system jacked 1 week after I put it in. Whats wrong with todays society? $150 for the sub and amp, plus $180 for the driver's side window. My trust= priceless.

Look at this LINK Enter in your car make and model. They sell EVERY SINGLE PART for your car. I think the center console is $129 but I'm not sure.

Quick question.....Did you install a stereo without installing an alarm to protect it. If so, you need an alarm ASAP.

Pay the deductable. the same thing happend to my friend and it came out to be way over $500 for everything stolen or broken. tell your insurance company that they stole your OEM headunit, and they will cut you a check for atleast $400 just for the STEREO alone, not including the center console piece or the broken window which is gonna cost bank to get fixed! definitely take it down to your local HONDA dealership, and have them give you a printed estimate on what it will cost to replace and fix each and every part missing or damaged. trust me, you might even pocket some cash when this is all over if you tell them that your OEM deck was stolen rather than an aftermarket deck.

my friends 2k1 was broken into about 3-4 weeks ago...tried to pry the door open, leaving the door frame all twisted, then smashed the driver window, and ripped the whole center console out just like what happen to you. from what he told me, his total was $3500. good thing they caught the guy snooping around another parking lot. amazing that we werent in class for more than 15 minutes, across the street and didnt hear anything and the doors were wide open. i know my friend doesnt deserve it but thats what happens when u show off and leave the HU face on. they come off for a reason u know. the thief couldnt get to the goodies in the trunk cause it was locked at the latch.

kinda glad it didnt happen to me tho...i was parked right next to him!

my car has no alarm. n itz not my car. itz mah parent's. blame them for being cheep.
but yeah. i was not hated on. it was random. car was vandalize at skool parking lot. it was at night. i was at a play. my teacher told me that several other teacher's car have been broken into.

this other dude with an 80 camaro has both rear tires slashed. so it was same group going around and the school will not do anything.
