Radar Detector and Tint

Will a radar detector go through my windshield strip at 20% if i have it mounted up there???

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

Radar waves will blow through your tint like a hot knife through butter. If it's metallic tint, I wouldn't mount it back there, but plain old tint shouldn't phase the fuzz buster at all.
